A.J. Brown Collapses at Practice, Suffers Injury, Expected to Miss Remainder of Training Camp
Training Camp 2025, Day 6, and the Philadelphia Eagles are already facing a worrying situation involving one of their biggest stars. Wide receiver A.J. Brown reportedly went down during a practice session on Friday and has since missed additional team activities due to what is now believed to be a hamstring injury.
According to team insiders, Brown was forced off the field midway through Friday’s practice and was absent from Sunday’s session altogether. While the injury hasn’t been officially classified as serious, Brown not dressing for practice raised immediate concerns across the fanbase.
Brown has been a cornerstone of the Eagles’ offense since arriving from Tennessee, stacking up three straight All-Pro Second Team selections and becoming Jalen Hurts’ go-to weapon. Even last season, despite missing four games, he hauled in 67 catches for 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns, continuing to be a top-tier pass catcher in the league.
Heading into the 2025 season, Brown was expected to lead a stacked receiving corps alongside DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, and new arrival Saquon Barkley. But this unexpected setback throws some uncertainty into those plans.
Team officials have emphasized there’s “no reason to panic,” noting that the Eagles are being cautious and allowing Brown time to recover early in camp. Still, the fact that it’s a hamstring injury — and that he was pulled entirely from action — has sparked unease.

Philadelphia is choosing the safer route for now, preferring to have Brown healthy when the regular season begins rather than pushing him in July. But make no mistake — with Super Bowl hopes riding high, every rep missed by A.J. Brown will be watched closely.
