VIDEO: NYC Police Release Witness Video From Early Sunday Shooting, A Warning for Bills Players
New York has once again been shaken by a major incident as the NYPD officially released a witness video capturing the early Sunday morning shooting. This is not only a criminal case but also a serious warning to the Buffalo Bills players, who share the same city identity with the New York Jets.
According to police reports, the shooting took place on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue at around 2 a.m. The video, recorded by a witness, shows the chaotic scene outside the Sei Less restaurant as a heated argument erupted just moments before gunshots echoed through the night.

The victim has been identified as Kris Boyd, a 29 year old cornerback for the New York Jets. He was shot in the abdomen and fell into critical condition at the scene. Witnesses say Boyd drifted in and out of consciousness before being rushed to Bellevue Hospital. He is currently in critical but more stable condition.

The situation has raised questions about whether Boyd was the intended target or simply caught in an escalating confrontation. Police confirmed that the shooter fled in a BMW X6, and a silver Mercedes Maybach also left the scene shortly after.

Sei Less, a well known hotspot frequently visited by NFL players, celebrities and artists, released a statement clarifying that the incident occurred outside the premises after the restaurant had already closed.
In response to the incident, Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula delivered a stern warning to the team.
“No victory is worth more than your safety. Protect yourself before it is too late.”
He emphasized that incidents happening within the same city are a wake up call for every player who chooses to stay out late at night.

New York is home to two NFL teams, the Jets and the Bills, meaning this situation serves as a city wide warning that extends far beyond a single organization.
The NYPD continues to investigate and has not yet identified any suspects or motives.
