Fast-forward a few hours, and Mahomes had flipped the narrative. He carved up the Lions defense, found his rhythm early, and led Kansas City to another convincing win. Arnold's pregame bit? It aged poorly. And Brittany Mahomes wasn’t going to let that slide. After the game, she took to social media and reposted Arnold’s meme on her Instagram story-an unmistakable way of reminding everyone exactly how things actually played out on the field. She didn’t stop there, either. She shared multiple game-day moments, including a hype shot of her husband making his pregame entrance and several clips of him in action, doing what he does best. Brittany was part of a solid star-studded support section that night, joining Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce's fiancée-and WNBA phenom turned Kansas City superfan Caitlin Clark. Call it a who's who at Arrowhead, but it turned into yet another celebration of winning football in the Midwest. But as the scoreboard settled, the tension on the field didn’t. What should’ve been a routine postgame handshake turned into a full-blown brawl. It started when Lions defensive back Brian Branch ignored a handshake from Mahomes and instead took a swing at Chiefs receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. Smith-Schuster hit the turf hard.
