Now that the match has wrapped up, a massive 2,700-member team from Tepper Sports & Entertainment has been working tirelessly to get Bank of America Stadium ready for the Week 9 clash between the Panthers and Packers.
🔧 How the Stadium is Being Transformed
At Bank of America Stadium — home of the Carolina Panthers — the transition from NFL to MLS setup was executed with incredible speed and precision.
But it didn’t stop there: as soon as the MLS playoff match ended, over 2,700 staff members from Tepper Sports & Entertainment worked around the clock to restore the field for the Panthers vs. Packers showdown in Week 9.
They removed the MLS benches, dismantled the soccer goals, scrubbed off every MLS field marking, repainted precise NFL yard lines down to the inch, and thoroughly inspected the FieldTurf surface, drainage system, and all stadium equipment.
Hour by hour, hundreds of technicians, laborers, and maintenance staff raced against time to make sure every detail was perfect for Sunday.
Due to the massive scale of the work, the kickoff time for the Panthers vs. Packers game has been slightly adjusted to ensure the field meets all NFL safety and technical standards.
Meanwhile, larger upgrades are also underway: new seating, a bigger LED scoreboard, widened walkways, and improved fan amenities — all designed to make Bank of America Stadium the premier multi-sport venue on the East Coast.
In short, our home stadium is not only being prepped for the Panthers, but it’s also becoming a true sports landmark for all of Charlotte — where the worlds of football and soccer meet, and Panthers Nation is ready to light it up again this weekend! 🐾🔥
