Steelers Star Helps Injured Fan After She Was Robbed Upon Arriving in Pittsburgh for Steelers–Packers Game

Pittsburgh, PA — A heartwarming story has emerged out of a tragic event ahead of Sunday’s Steelers vs. Packers matchup.

According to the Pittsburgh Police Department, a woman traveling from Mansfield, over 240 miles away, was attacked and robbed shortly after arriving in the city early Saturday morning. The victim, a devoted Steelers fan, was left injured with a wound on her forehead and lost all of her belongings — including her wallet, phone, and ticket to Sunday’s game at Acrisure Stadium.

News of the incident quickly spread online among the Steelers community. Within hours, one player decided to step in.

Star running back Jaylen Warren reached out after hearing about the situation, personally arranging new game tickets, hotel accommodation, and travel money to ensure the fan could still attend the game she had dreamed of watching live.

“I just couldn’t stand by and let a fan go through that,” Warren said. “Steelers fans give us everything every Sunday.  The least I could do was give something back. That’s what family means in Pittsburgh.

When someone wears black and gold, they’re family. I just wanted her to know she’s not alone - Steelers Nation takes care of its own.”

The act of kindness immediately went viral, with countless Steelers fans praising Warren’s compassion and leadership both on and off the field. Many called his gesture “the true spirit of Pittsburgh” — a reminder that being part of Steelers Nation means more than just cheering on Sundays.

The fan later shared an emotional message of gratitude, saying she was “overwhelmed by Jaylen’s kindness.”

“I came to Pittsburgh with nothing left — no money, no phone, no hope,” she said tearfully. “Then I got a call that Jaylen Warren wanted to help. I can’t put into words what that meant. He turned one of the worst days of my life into a reminder that this city still has heart.”

Police say the suspect is still at large but that the victim is recovering and expected to attend the game, thanks to Warren’s help and the support of the Steelers community.

Jerry Jones Speaks Out, Criticizes the Controversy Surrounding the Cowboys WR After the Loss to the Lions
DALLAS — Jerry Jones has finally had enough. In a fiery radio interview on 105.3 The Fan Tuesday morning, the Cowboys owner publicly ripped into star wide receiver George Pickens for his explosive, now-deleted Instagram beef with Richard Sherman following the Thanksgiving nightmare against the Detroit Lions. “I love everything George has done this year,” Jones said. “But let me be very clear — I don’t want to see him sitting on Instagram arguing with Richard Sherman or anybody else. Put the phone down, stop the social media nonsense, and focus on playing football. That’s what we pay him for.” Mic drop. The 82-year-old owner rarely calls out his own players by name in public, making this one of the sharpest rebukes in recent Cowboys history. Quick recap of the chaos: Lions game: CeeDee Lamb gets hurt and leaves early → Pickens disappears with a miserable 5 catches for 37 yards. Richard Sherman goes on TV and says Pickens “quit on routes” and showed zero effort. Pickens claps back with a savage (and quickly deleted) Instagram story: “Old man still talking.” Internet explodes. Despite the ugly performance, Pickens still leads the Cowboys in every major receiving stat (78 receptions, 1,179 yards, 8 TDs), but Jerry Jones just drew a line in the sand: the social media wars end today. “I have zero concern about George competing and helping us win games on the field,” Jones continued. “My only concern is him wasting time and energy on this Instagram back-and-forth instead of turning the page.” Will this public dressing-down light a fire under Pickens… or pour gasoline on an already raging controversy? One thing is certain — every snap this Sunday will be scrutinized like never before. Is Jerry Jones right to go nuclear on his star WR? Or did he just make the drama ten times worse?
