Steelers Rookie Center Proves Critics Wrong, Emerges as Key Offensive Anchor
Pittsburgh, PA — A rookie center, initially doubted for his draft position, has quickly become a vital piece of the Steelers’ offensive line. Proving critics wrong, he emerged as one of the most reliable young players at his position in the NFL.
In his first season, he started all 17 games, logging over 1,050 snaps with a strong Pro Football Focus (PFF) grade of 74.2, ranking 12th among 36 NFL centers. He allowed just one sack and four quarterback pressures, showcasing his consistency and technical skill.

Beyond pass protection, he played a key role in improving the Steelers’ running game and helped reduce the team’s sack total to 42. His outstanding performance earned him the Joe Greene Performance Award as the team’s top rookie.
Widely regarded as a “home-run” pick at center, Zach Frazier’s already being compared to Steelers legends such as Mike Webster and Dermontti Dawson for his immediate impact and leadership.
"Many doubted if a second round pick could anchor the Steelers’ offensive line. But I stepped in, played every snap, and proved I’m more than just a rookie. This is just the beginning — watch me build a legacy," Zach Frazier said confidently.
As the Steelers look toward the future, all eyes will be on this rising star to continue his development and help lead the offense to new success. Fans and analysts are excited about what lies ahead.
