🚨 PANTHERS REFUSE TO SUPPORT TREVON MOEHRIG ‼️ TEAM WITHDRAWS LEGAL BACKING IN GROIN PUNCH LAWSUIT INVOLVING JAUAN JENNINGS
Carolina Panthers have officially withdrawn from any legal involvement or support related to the fallout surrounding safety Trevon Moehrig after his shocking punch to the groin of 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings during Monday Night Football.

According to team insiders, the Panthers will offer no legal backing, no defense, and no internal cover if Moehrig is sued or sanctioned by the NFL. Team owner David Tepper made the team’s position crystal clear in front of the press:
"We do not condone that behavior and will not intervene to protect any individual if the consequences are self-inflicted."

The slow-mo replay from the game has gone viral, capturing Moehrig delivering a clear uppercut directly to Jennings' groin during a post-play pile-up. Jennings immediately curled up in pain, holding his lower body, while Moehrig stood and walked away. No flag was thrown, sparking outrage online. Thousands of fans labeled the hit “sexual assault” and demanded a suspension.
"You don’t punch a man in the balls. Period." one fan wrote bluntly.
🩺 The damage goes beyond the field
Jennings was sent for a medical evaluation right after the game. According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, doctors discovered signs of serious trauma to the groin, and warned that if not treated properly, it could potentially affect Jennings’ ability to have children. The family is now considering a civil lawsuit, and the Panthers have reportedly notified internal staff that they will not be involved in any legal or financial support for Moehrig.
⚠️ NFL launches investigation as Moehrig’s future hangs in the balance
With recent precedent like Lions DB Brian Branch receiving a one-game suspension for a postgame scuffle, experts believe Moehrig could face a 2 to 4 game suspension, or possibly be released, especially if public pressure continues to mount.
Jennings had a solid game statistically, with 5 receptions for 41 yards and 1 touchdown. But now, the conversation has shifted from football to a controversial act of violence and its serious consequences.
