Josh Allen Blasts Bills Offense After Shocking End to Perfect Start

The Buffalo Bills’ perfect start came crashing down Sunday night in Foxborough — and Josh Allen didn’t mince words about it.

After a 23–20 loss to the New England Patriots, Allen was candid and visibly frustrated. “That was just piss poor offense,” he said bluntly. And he wasn’t wrong — Buffalo looked out of sync for much of the night, especially in key moments.

The Bills entered Week 5 as the NFL’s last unbeaten team at 4–0, but the Patriots were ready for a chess match and executed perfectly.

New England’s defense was disciplined, kept everything in front of them, and held Buffalo to just three first-half points. Despite a late rally and flashes of Allen’s magic, the Bills couldn’t finish the job.

Even after tying the game 20–20 in the fourth quarter, the Patriots mounted a composed, time-draining drive and nailed a 52-yard field goal with under 20 seconds remaining — game over.

Statistically, Allen wasn’t bad: 22 of 31 for 253 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception, plus 53 rushing yards on nine carries. But by his own standard, it wasn’t enough.

James Cook struggled to find space, limited to 49 yards on 15 carries. Without a consistent ground attack, Allen had to shoulder the offense, and New England’s smart pressure and tight coverage shut down big plays.

Rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid was a bright spot, recording six catches for 108 yards — his first career 100-yard game. Curtis Samuel and Keon Coleman both scored touchdowns, but Buffalo couldn’t sustain momentum.

In the end, the Patriots made Buffalo earn every yard — and they were simply the better team when it mattered most.

It’s a stinging loss for Allen and the Bills, but there’s no time to dwell, with a road trip to Atlanta on Oct. 13 at 7:15 PM ET.

This isn’t panic time — far from it. But Sunday was a reminder: when you’re the last undefeated team, everyone’s aiming for you.
And sometimes, the difference between triumph and heartbreak is just 52 yards and 20 seconds.

BREAKING: Ex-Cowboys 1464 Yard, 9 TD Happy of PANTHERS MOVE & Sends a Warning to The Cowboys
🛑BREAKING: Ex-Cowboys 1464 Yard, 9 TD Happy of PANTHERS MOVE & Sends a Warning to The Cowboys Carolina Panthers’ running back has a blunt message for his former team, with the warning coming ahead of Dallas’ Week 6 showdown against Carolina. He played with the Cowboys from 2020 through 2024 before inking a one-year deal with the Panthers this past March. Fresh off a 27–24 comeback win over Miami, he didn’t hold back when discussing his thoughts on facing Dallas again. “I spent five years in Dallas and I’m sure they miss me now. But honestly, I’m happy to be here in Carolina, this team’s got more heart, more talent, and more hunger than the Cowboys ever did. I came here to win — and Dallas can sit back and see what a real contender looks like.” In his five seasons with Dallas, he compiled 1,464 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns, along with 3,93 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns. This season in Carolina, he has already posted 289 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Meanwhile, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys most recently faced the Jets at MetLife Stadium, with Prescott going 18-for-29 for 239 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 37–22 win. Dallas currently sits at 2–2–1 this season under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Carolina and Dallas are set to square off on Oct. 12 at Bank of America Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 12:00 pm CDT on FOX.
