Jayden Reed’s Super Bowl Swagger Crushed by Girlfriend’s Scathing Social Media Slam!

The Green Bay Packers are 2-0, riding high on momentum, and looking like a team that’s not just winning early, but doing it with authority. But the good vibes took a hit this week when wide receiver Jayden Reed suffered a broken collarbone during the team’s 27-18 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 2. Reed underwent surgery on Tuesday, and while the team expects him to miss several weeks, there’s optimism he could return by November.
Shortly after surgery, Reed hopped on Instagram Live to give fans an update. Still a little loopy from anesthesia, the second-year receiver sent out some love to Packers fans and dropped a bold proclamation: “Packers to the (Super) Bowl, bruh… We going all the f****g way bruh.” It was brief, it was raw, and it was very much a player still buzzing-both from the meds and from how well his team is playing.
His girlfriend, Aneisha Cox, joined in on the fun with a lighthearted TikTok of her own, mimicking a one-woman band and joking, “Join the band or let ya man go on live again.” The couple had a little fun with the moment, but behind the laughs, there’s a serious truth: this Packers team has real juice.
Let’s talk about why.
Green Bay is off to its best start in years, with back-to-back wins over playoff teams from last season. In Week 1, they handled the Detroit Lions-last year’s 15-win NFC North champs-by a score of 27-13.
Jordan Love looked sharp, tossing two touchdown passes, and the defense held Detroit to just one late score. Micah Parsons, the high-profile offseason addition from Dallas, got his first sack in green and gold and showed exactly why the Packers went out and got him.
Then came Week 2. Against a Washington Commanders team that made it to the NFC Championship last season, the Packers once again took control early and never really let go.
Love threw for 292 yards, and tight end Tucker Kraft emerged as a key playmaker with six catches, 124 yards and a touchdown. Parsons continued to wreak havoc in limited snaps, drawing double-teams and forcing mistakes even when he wasn’t directly making the play.
Through two games, he’s got 1.5 sacks-and he hasn’t even hit top gear yet.
The defense as a whole has been stingy, giving up just 31 points across two games. That’s not just good-it’s the kind of early-season dominance that sets a tone for what this team could be. And with Love playing turnover-free football-four touchdown passes, zero interceptions-it’s clear the Packers have found stability under center.
Of course, losing Reed hurts. He’s a dynamic piece of the offense, a guy who stretches the field and gives defenses another threat to worry about. But the Packers have depth, and with the way Love is spreading the ball around, they have the tools to weather this stretch without him.
Next up, Green Bay heads to Cleveland to take on the Browns in Week 3. A win there would mark the Packers’ first 3-0 start since 2020.
The last time that happened, they made it all the way to the NFC Championship game. Different roster.
Different coach. But the same kind of vibe is starting to take shape.
Jayden Reed might be sidelined for now, but his confidence in this squad isn’t misplaced. If the Packers keep playing like this-efficient offense, disruptive defense, and a quarterback who’s growing into the role-they’re going to be a tough out all season long.
