Jason Kelce Moves Philadelphia to Tears After Donating All “New Heights” Podcast Earnings to Rebuild Local Playgrounds
💚 When the Heart of an Eagle Still Beats for the City

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Former Eagles center and team legend Jason Kelce has once again captured the hearts of fans and locals after announcing that he will donate all of his 2025 podcast earnings from “New Heights” to restore and rebuild public playgrounds across underprivileged neighborhoods in Philadelphia.
At a small gathering held at Fairmount Park, Kelce appeared in an old Eagles hoodie, holding a microphone as dozens of kids and parents surrounded him. His voice was calm but filled with conviction:
“I’ve played on the best fields in the world. But the kids in Philly deserve a field where their dreams can begin.
I can’t leave this city knowing there are still places where laughter hasn’t returned.”
For a moment, the park fell completely silent before erupting in cheers and chants of Fly Eagles Fly!

According to reports from the Eagles Foundation and New Heights Media, Kelce’s donation, estimated at over 1.7 million USD, will be used to revitalize 12 football fields and community activity centers throughout South and West Philadelphia.
The initiative, named “New Heights for Philly”, will include:
-
Rebuilding turf and lighting systems
Creating youth training areas and mentorship programs
Installing safety cameras and family seating zones
Launching “Play with a Pro” sessions featuring former Eagles players
“Jason isn’t just an Eagles legend. He’s the embodiment of Philadelphia, tough, humble, and always thinking about others.”
Head coach Nick Sirianni said.
🕊️ A Legacy That Needs No More Championships
Though retired, Kelce continues to stand side by side with the team and the city through community efforts. From handing out free meals to the homeless, supporting veterans, to now funding playgrounds, his impact goes far beyond the field.
When asked why he remains so attached to Philadelphia, Kelce smiled and replied:
“I wasn’t born in Philadelphia. But the Eagles and this city made me feel like I was born again.
And I’ll spend the rest of my life paying that love back.”
