Head Coach Kellen Moore Confirms: Disgraced Former NFL Kicker Accused of Sexual Misconduct to Try Out with Saints!
The entire NFL is buzzing with shock as Justin Tucker, once the league’s highest paid kicker, prepares for a possible return following a massive sexual misconduct scandal. And the team giving him that shot? None other than the New Orleans Saints, led by head coach Kellen Moore.

On Monday, Moore confirmed that Tucker, alongside kicker Cade York, will participate in a tryout session on Tuesday, just days after current kicker Blake Grupe missed two crucial field goals in a 24 to 10 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Tucker, 36 and married, was released by the Baltimore Ravens in May despite having three years left on a 22 million dollar contract. The decision came after he was accused of sexually harassing 16 massage therapists across eight different spas and wellness centers in the Baltimore area between 2012 and 2016, the early years of his NFL career.

The allegations were deeply disturbing. Repeated exposure of his erect genitals, deliberate unwanted physical contact, and even reportedly leaving behind what appeared to be bodily fluids on massage tables. Two therapists claimed Tucker made direct genital contact with them. The NFL launched an internal investigation, sending officials to Baltimore to interview the women involved. Tucker was then handed a 10 week suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
Tucker has denied all wrongdoing, calling the accusations "shocking and deeply hurtful." He insisted that he had never acted inappropriately during any professional treatment sessions and was never told he was unwelcome at any therapy provider. His wife, Amanda Bass, publicly defended him, stating, "I believe my husband. These false allegations have deeply hurt our family. I fully support and love him."
Interestingly, Ravens GM Eric DeCosta avoided mentioning the scandal in his press release, stating that Tucker’s release was purely based on football reasons. "Justin created so many legendary moments for this team. We’re thankful for his contributions and wish him the best moving forward."
Now, just weeks after his reinstatement by commissioner Roger Goodell, Tucker is on the verge of a stunning comeback. But head coach Kellen Moore made it clear that the Saints will tread carefully. "There’s the football side of things, and then there’s the human side," Moore said. "This visit includes conversations and evaluations. Our staff will gather all the necessary information. This is a tryout. We’ll see how it goes."
If successful, this would mark Tucker’s first appearance back in the NFL since January 19.
The big question is this. Are the Saints willing to risk their reputation to stabilize their special teams?
