Eagles Star OL Sends Wake-Up Call to Locker Room: “We’ve Done Nothing Yet”

The confetti’s gone. The rings are polished. And the banner has already been ordered. But for him, none of it matters now.
Speaking to reporters on Day 2 of Eagles Training Camp, the veteran left guard didn’t waste time reflecting on Super Bowl LIX. Instead, he issued a firm reminder to his teammates — and to the entire fanbase.
“Every team has a one-year expiration,” He said. “Right now, we’ve accomplished nothing. We’re zero and zero — and we’re here to work.”
It’s a mentality that echoes through the walls of the NovaCare Complex. While fans and media celebrate the Eagles’ 2024 triumph, inside the locker room, there’s only one focus: building again from the ground up.
Landon Dickerson, who battled through knee and wrist injuries last season, says he’s fully healthy now and more focused than ever. But beyond his personal health, it’s the team’s mindset that matters most.
“Last year’s team was special,” he admitted, “but that team doesn’t exist anymore. This is a new roster. New roles. New challenges.”
With veterans like Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, and Darius Slay gone, leadership has shifted to pillars like Dickerson, Jalen Carter, and Jalen Hurts. And with rising talents like Trevor Keegan, Jihaad Campbell, and Andrew Mukuba making their case at camp, the message is clear: no one’s spot is guaranteed.
Even with a familiar face like Kevin Patullo stepping in as offensive coordinator, Dickerson says it’s not about comfort — it’s about redefining identity.
“It’s about putting the best five guys on the field,” he noted, when asked about offensive line rotations. “Versatility matters. But culture matters more. If you’re not buying in, you’re not gonna last around here.”
Dickerson’s words weren’t emotional — they were surgical. Calculated. Focused.
Because in Philadelphia, winning one Super Bowl is never enough. And for Landon Dickerson and the 2025 Eagles, the chase starts now — from zero.
