The Philadelphia Eagles are facing concerning updates as star right tackle Lane Johnson remains hospitalized after aggravating a Lisfranc injury suffered in Week 11. Early optimism has faded as new medical evaluations have opened the possibility of surgery, creating uncertainty around his return timeline.
Johnson exited Sunday night’s game after experiencing sharp pain in the mid foot area that has been monitored throughout the season. According to league sources, doctors have not ruled out surgical intervention because persistent swelling is making imaging more difficult. Lisfranc injuries vary greatly in severity, ranging from ligament strains to structural damage that requires surgical repair.
