Eagles Add Guard to 53-Man Roster, Bring Back WR to Practice Squad
The Eagles made a pair of roster moves over the weekend as they continue to adjust ahead of the regular season. One transaction filled an open spot on the 53-man roster, while the other brought back a familiar wide receiver to the practice squad.
The opening was created when rookie guard/center Willie Lampkin was placed on Injured Reserve late last week. Philadelphia wasted little time filling the void, reuniting with a lineman they had briefly waived during final cuts before making the decision to promote him back up.

That player is Kenyon Green, the former first-round pick originally acquired in a trade with the Houston Texans. Green, selected 15th overall in 2022, has 23 NFL starts under his belt and now slides back into the Eagles’ plans as depth along the offensive line.
Alongside the move, the team also brought back wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. to the practice squad. Marshall had been waived during cutdown day and briefly released again before Sunday’s announcement, but his return offers Philadelphia another developmental option at wideout.
For the Eagles, the juggling act is about building depth at key positions while weathering early-season injuries. Head coach Nick Sirianni is expected to address the moves in greater detail during his scheduled press conference on Sunday afternoon.
With Green reinforcing the trenches and Marshall back in the mix, the Eagles continue to shape their roster for the grind of the season, making sure they have experienced reinforcements ready when needed.
