Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Demands NFL Investigation Into Eagles After Rams Controversy
Prescott blasts the league: “The Eagles keep catching all the breaks — the NFL must investigate!”
The Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles delivered one of the wildest games of Week 3, but the aftermath has shifted from the field to the officials. A string of controversial non-calls in Philadelphia’s favor has sparked outrage — and now Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is demanding an official investigation.
The controversy started in the first quarter when the Eagles ran their signature “tush push.” Replays showed what appeared to be a clear false start, yet no flag was thrown. Jalen Hurts scored, and the touchdown stood.
In the fourth quarter, with the Rams mounting a comeback, Matthew Stafford targeted rookie receiver Puka Nacua. On replay, Nacua was visibly held by an Eagles defender, but once again, the officials swallowed their whistles. The missed call derailed what could have been a game-changing drive.
The Rams still managed to reach field goal range, but rookie kicker Joshua Karty’s 44-yard attempt was blocked and returned for a touchdown, sealing the Eagles’ 33-26 victory. Social media exploded with accusations of favoritism, and hashtags like #InvestigateEagles and #RiggedForPhilly quickly began trending.
Dak Prescott added fuel to the fire in his postgame remarks.
“Week 1 against us, and now again versus the Rams — it feels like the Eagles keep getting all the breaks. I’m not saying anything for sure, but when the same team always ends up with the advantage, you have to wonder what’s really going on. That’s why I think the NFL needs to investigate this.”
So far, the NFL has remained silent, but insiders believe league officials will face mounting pressure to review both the Rams-Eagles and Cowboys-Eagles officiating tapes.
For Philadelphia, the win improves their record to 3-0, keeping their Super Bowl defense alive. But for Prescott and countless fans, the bigger question looms: Is the playing field truly level when it comes to the Eagles?
