Cam Skattebo Says He Wants to Join the Eagles After Harsh Treatment from Giants Fans

Philadelphia is buzzing this week as Cam Skattebo, a rising Gen Z star with a colorful personality, has suddenly become a fan favorite among the Eagles community. And it’s not just about his on-field promise. During his current recovery from injury, Skattebo has developed a surprising bond with Philadelphia fans that’s turning heads across the league.

In recent streams and public appearances, Eagles fans have been loudly shouting his name, chanting Cam Skattebo and Fly Eagles Fly with pride. They check in on him, send well wishes, and show him the signature warmth that Philly is known for. Multiple viral videos have captured fans treating him like he already belongs to the team. That reception has clearly touched Skattebo and sparked some serious thoughts about possibly becoming a true part of the city.

Amid this wave of unexpected love, Skattebo made a now-famous statement that lit up the internet:

“If you see me in public and you say Go Birds it makes no sense.”

What sounded like confusion quickly turned into an inside joke that only brought Eagles fans closer to him. The more he said it didn’t make sense, the louder they yelled it. And suddenly, the “Go Birds” chant became a movement.

But while the Eagles community embraced him with humor and heart, Giants fans took a very different approach. After Skattebo went down with an injury, he began livestreaming to stay positive, interact with fans, and simply have fun during his recovery. Instead of support, he was met with wave after wave of hate and mockery from Giants fans.

They asked why he was streaming instead of staying home to “heal,” with some even cruelly suggesting he should disappear for a whole year. Skattebo finally had enough and clapped back live on stream:

I’m streaming to keep my spirits up and connect with people. What do they want me to do, sit in a room with a broken leg for a whole year?

The contrast couldn’t be clearer. While Eagles fans teased him with love and memes, Giants fans criticized his every move as if he owed them silence and invisibility.

It didn’t help that Skattebo has also become a meme magnet. From WWE guest streams to energy drink marathons to eating tacos while trash-talking on stream, his presence is larger than life. Sportswriter Kyle Pagan even joked he might become the Gen Z version of Johnny Manziel if he keeps up this streamer lifestyle.

Still, all the chaos has led to one very real shift in perspective. Skattebo feels safer, more appreciated, and more wanted by Eagles fans than anywhere else. And that might be the beginning of something big.

If Giants fans keep dragging him down and Eagles fans keep lifting him up, the question is no longer if Cam Skattebo joins Philadelphia… but when.

Josh Allen Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week After Insane Week 14 Comeback vs Bengals
For the THIRD time in 2025 and the 18th time in his legendary career, Josh Allen has been crowned AFC Offensive Player of the Week – putting him just behind Tom Brady for the most all-time. What he did to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday wasn’t football… it was a superhero movie. Stats that don’t even sound real: 22/28 (78.6%) – 251 passing yards – 3 passing TDs 9 carries – 78 rushing yards – 1 rushing TD (including a 40-yard sprint for the ages) → 4 total TDs, zero turnovers, and a perfect passer rating in the 4th quarter. The Moments That Broke the Internet Down 11 in the 2nd quarter, 4th-and-4 from the 11-yard line Josh Allen escapes pressure, rolls left, and throws an absolute DIME across his body to Khalil Shakir backing into the end zone. Then hits Dawson Knox for the 2-point conversion. Sean McDermott’s one-word reaction on Monday? “Audacity.” Bengals just took a two-possession lead in the 4th Allen needs only 1:11 to march 75 yards and scores himself on a 40-yard touchdown run – the longest rushing TD by a Bill in regular-season history. Game on the line, 3rd-and-15 with 1:54 left Instead of punting, Josh scrambles for the first down, takes a knee twice, and ends the game. Ballgame. History Made (Again) 11th career game with 3+ passing TDs + 1+ rushing TD → most in NFL history (only player with 10+) First player ever with 20+ pass TDs & 10+ rush TDs in three separate seasons First player ever with multiple games of 250+ pass yds, 75+ rush yds, 3+ pass TDs, 1+ rush TD 50th career game with at least 1 passing + 1 rushing TD → extends his own NFL record Josh Allen didn’t just beat the Bengals – he reminded the entire league why he’s the 2025 MVP front-runner. Bills Mafia, is this the best single-game performance of Josh’s career? Sound off in the comments!
