49ers Trade Proposal: Sends a star offensive player and multiple draft picks in exchange for a $106 million defensive standout.

Maxx Crosby

As Maxx Crosby trade rumors make their way around the NFL, it was only natural that the San Francisco 49ers would get mentioned as a landing spot considering their pass rushing needs.

Let’s get this out of the way first: the odds of Crosby getting traded are extremely slim. On October 21, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the Raiders met with Crosby and told him he is not being shopped and will not be traded; Crosby doesn’t want out, either.

That said, after the Cowboys shipped Micah Parsons to Green Bay, it was a reminder that trades can be as unpredictable as Midwest weather. Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton put together a trade proposal that would bring Crosby’s talents to the Bay Area — and it’s a doozy.

49ers Trade Proposal Swaps Jauan Jennings & Draft Haul for Raiders Edge Maxx Crosby

A new trade proposal has the San Francisco 49ers landing Las Vegas Raiders’ star pass rusher Maxx Crosby.

Here’s a look at Moton’s complete trade proposal:

  • Las Vegas Raiders Get: 2026 1st-round pick, 2026 4th-round pick, 2027 1st-round pick, 2027 5th-round pick, WR Jauan Jennings
  • San Francisco 49ers Get: Edge Maxx Crosby

“The 49ers need help on defense,” Moton wrote. “Nick Bosa and Fred Warner suffered season-ending injuries. Why not swing for the fences while older offensive veterans Trent Williams and Christian McCaffrey are healthy on a team that’s atop its division? By the way, San Francisco has $23 million in cap space. Raiders fans would hate to see Crosby wearing the colors of an old Bay Area rival, but this move would still send him outside the conference.”

Through Week 7 of 2025, Crosby, a two-time second-team All-Pro, has 4.0 sacks, an interception and five passes defended. He had 14.5 sacks in 2023 and 7.5 QB takedowns in an injury-riddled 2024 campaign. He’s a four-time Pro Bowler whose volume and efficiency show up every year, and he’s single-handedly able to wreck games. Imagining him rushing the passer alongside Bosa next season and beyond is straight up unfair.

A Closer Look at Crosby’s Contract & Defensive Fit

Whether the Niners shock the world and trade for Crosby, they’re going to need to address their current pass rushing situation sooner rather than later. Bosa is out, and Bryce Huff has been sidelined by a hamstring injury for at least a couple of weeks, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.

The 49ers would also have to take on Crosby’s mega-contract, which wouldn’t be easy. In March, Crosby signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension that pushed his guarantees to the top of the non-QB market at the time. OverTheCap lists fully guaranteed base salaries of $32.5 million (2025) and $30 million (2026), with 2027 injury-only guarantees that vest later.

That’s a lot, but if San Francisco wanted to, it could absorb Year 1 via a restructure on arrival and plan for a 2026 cap that will again rise. The Niners –or any team interested in trading for Crosby — would also have to give up multiple future first-round picks to nab him. Still just 28, Crosby is in his prime, and it took at least two future firsts and an additional player (DT Kenny Clark) to move him. Moving Jennings in any trade swap makes sense, as he’s on an expiring contract and adds value.

The Raiders’ position will likely remain firm through the deadline — it often does with cornerstone players. This is most likely a fun little exercise at the end of the day. But in today’s NFL, huge trades aren’t uncommon, and if the 49ers or someone else calls Las Vegas with a ridiculously huge offer for Crosby, well — never say never.

Bills Cheerleader Sues Bills Player for Sexual Harassment After He Relentlessly Flirted With Her – Despite Being Married with a Child
BUFFALO, NY – December 11, 2025 A bombshell lawsuit has just been filed in Erie County Court that has all of Western New York talking. Ashley, the 24-year-old face of the Buffalo Jills and widely regarded as the squad’s most popular and recognizable cheerleader, has officially sued a current Buffalo Bills player for what her legal team calls “persistent and unwanted sexual harassment through aggressive flirting” – even though the player is married with a young child. Court documents obtained today name 27-year-old Shane Buechele – the Bills’ third-string QB who married his high-school sweetheart Reiley in 2022 and has a 2-year-old son – as the defendant. What the lawsuit alleges: Since the start of the 2025 season, Buechele allegedly began sending Ashley private Instagram messages after every home game, complimenting her looks and performances with increasingly suggestive language. Multiple late-night phone calls (some as late as 2-3 a.m.) in which Buechele allegedly complained about his lack of playing time, “just wanted to hear her voice,” and invited her for private coffee meet-ups. Unsolicited shirtless and suggestive photos sent directly to Ashley’s phone. Repeatedly showing up “by coincidence” at community and charity events Ashley was scheduled to attend, creating unwanted one-on-one encounters. In the filing, Ashley states: “I made it crystal clear on multiple occasions that I only wanted a professional relationship and was focused on my career. He completely ignored my boundaries. The middle-of-the-night calls left me terrified and suffering from severe insomnia. This has taken a serious toll on my mental health.” Immediate fallout: The Buffalo Bills have suspended Shane Buechele indefinitely without pay pending an internal investigation. Reiley Buechele has locked all of her social media accounts and has made no public statement. Ashley’s attorney says they will seek damages “well into seven figures” and hope the case sets a precedent for better protection of NFL cheerleaders league-wide. The NFL has confirmed it is monitoring the situation closely and may impose additional discipline. One Bills Mafia is completely split: #TeamAshley supporters are demanding Buechele be cut immediately: “Married with a kid and still doing this? Disgusting.” Others are calling it an overreaction: “Flirty DMs and compliments? This feels like a money grab or a PR stunt.” The case is still in its earliest stages, with an initial court appearance expected in early 2026. What do YOU think – is this legitimate workplace harassment, or is the cheerleader blowing things out of proportion?
